Marion Paton’s Backyard Feeders
Hummingbird Haven in Patagonia, Arizona is one of the most famous sites to view Hummingbirds in all of the United States. Hummers migrating back and forth between North and South America have been frequenting the Paton’s Backyard feeders for over a decade and continue to do so year after year. Although Marion and Wally Paton ( Patton ), have both passed away, local enthusiasts continue the legacy by keeping the feeders full and maintaining the yard for visiting birders from all over the world. Their simple bank of hummingbird feeders attracts Hummingbirds year round and hosts 15 different species of Hummingbirds, including the broad-billed, the rufous and the magnificent Violet Crowned Hummingbird.
